Defending Creative Integrity in the Realm
Introduction
At Warlords of Legacy, we honor not only the might of commanders but also the rightful ownership of creators. This section outlines our compliance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (“DMCA”) and how we address claims of intellectual property infringement.
If you believe that content hosted on our site infringes upon your copyrighted work, you may submit a formal DMCA takedown notice in accordance with the procedures described below.
1. Submitting a DMCA Takedown Request
-
To file a valid DMCA notice, you must be the copyright holder or authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
-
Your written notification must include a clear description of the copyrighted work, the location of the allegedly infringing content on our site, and a good faith belief that use of the material is unauthorized.
-
The notice must include a statement made under penalty of perjury that the information provided is accurate and that you are the rightful owner or authorized agent.
2. Required Information in the Notice
Your DMCA notice must contain the following:
- Your full name and legal identity (organization if applicable)
- Detailed identification of the copyrighted work (title, description, and proof of ownership if possible)
- The exact URL or location of the infringing material on our site
- A statement that you have a good faith belief the use is unauthorized
- A statement that the information in the notice is accurate, and made under penalty of perjury
- Your digital or physical signature
3. Response and Removal
-
Once a complete and valid DMCA notice is received, we will investigate the claim and may remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content.
-
We may also notify the content uploader and allow them to submit a counter-notification if they believe the claim was made in error.
-
Repeated violations may result in permanent removal of content or suspension of access to the site.
4. Counter-Notice Procedure
If you believe your content was wrongfully removed due to a DMCA claim, you may file a counter-notification. Your response must include all necessary legal elements and a statement consenting to jurisdiction for any legal dispute arising from the takedown.
5. Contact Method
All DMCA notices and counter-notices must be submitted through the communication channels provided within our platform. We do not process copyright requests submitted by other means.
6. Policy Updates
We reserve the right to modify this DMCA policy at any time. Any changes will be posted to this section of the site. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes agreement to the updated terms.
